I wrote this back when I was around 13 or 14 and posted it as a game on a forum I was signed up to. No one ever solved it, but then again the site basically became desserted soon after. I decided to post it here and see what happens. ^-^


I just bought a watch
Look at it shine
But it does a bit more
Than just tell time

It came with a key
It came with a lock
There's more to it
Than just tick tock

It came with instructions
To solve a ryhme
But I need your help
To solve it on time

In six parts
The ryhme is done
I hope we solve it
Have fun

This is the thing
That let's me see
What's on the paper
Infront of me
Without it I'm blind
It's a piece of the body
But not of the mind

You bought me for this reason
You know what I mean
It was only afterwards
You found out
I wasn't what I seemed

This is what you're doing
When you go from place to place
Normally you pack your bags
Or just take a suitcase

This is what you're doing
When you use a needle and thread
Of course you could use
That mechine instead

This is a green leafy vegetable
In your garden it grows
But without 'us' in it's name
Would it be? No

This is said at the start of every race
Figure this one out and pick your place
In time
